Training: It’s A Mission, Not A Competition [Registration Required]

BACKGROUND: As many of you may know, over the past two years, CPNRI has utilized a National Expansion of Employment Opportunities Network (NEON) grant from ANCOR and subject matter experts to provide training and Community of Practice opportunities to employment providers in RI. Culminating off this work led by Jeannine Pavlak, CEO of New England Business Associates (NEBA), and coordinated by CPN, we welcome employment teams to workshops designed for seasoned employment professionals and community day and residential Direct Support Professionals. Jeannine has hosted 18 webinars with us and now that the second year is coming to an end, we are excited to bring everyone together at CPN’s office for more targeted, in-depth, and interactive discussions around employment for people with disabilities in our state.

WHAT:Employment First and empowering people with disabilities to be contributing members of the workforce is a movement, and yet unlike many movements, organizations find themselves doing this in silos. We will explore actionable pathways that can solidify our efforts.
