On Friday, Rhode Island’s new state budget was signed by Governor Dan McKee. This budget includes a $115 million investment in Medicaid which will increase funding for disability services.

Rhode Island leaders have shown that we are a state where everyone belongs.

Thank you to every lawmaker who worked on this investment. In particular, House Speaker Christopher Blazejewski, Senate President Valarie Lawson, Senate Finance Chair Louis DiPalma, House Finance Chair Marvin Abney, House Majority Leader Katherine Kazarian, Senate Majority Leader Frank Ciccone and bill sponsor Representative Evan Shanley.
