Rhode Island is home to 192,344 people aged 65 and up. For some older adults who are homebound, the next meal isn’t guaranteed.
That’s where Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island and the James L. Maher Center are stepping in. For 15 years, this group has delivered meals and connections every day in rain, sun or snow.
It is a powerful reminder of what it means to look out for your neighbor:
